It’s decided to write about right extremists from Russia as about supporters of “Novorossiya”. However, Russian radicals fight in Ukrainian volunteer battalions and National Guard. Staying in Ukraine already in veteran of Ato status, these people enter into political struggle against civil society on ultrarightists’ side.
“What did you say ‘bout Russians?”
Kyiv. The action of memory of Stanislav Markelov and Anastasia Baburova. Roman Jeleznov with nickname “Zukhel” reports to journalists: “Markelov is the Russophobic crud, which protected Chechen terrorists, who killed Russian soldiers, my brothers in blood and second one is his lover”. “Slut”, prompts the comrade to Zukhel. Markelov and Baburova struggled against Russian nationalism and according to the words of Jeleznov were “liquidated deservedly”.
“What do you have against Russians? What do you have against Russian soldiers, who struggled with Chechen spawn? What for colonel Budanov?”, aggressively asks Jeleznov one of the participants of the action.
“We were protected by a big number of the press and police. Ultrarightists openly claimed, that people can be killed for ideas, which not consistent with the interests of the nation, – tells the participant of the action, Stanislav, – I don’t know if it’s connected with Russian right ultras, but attacks on the left loyals become more frequent in Kyiv last time. Other representatives of Russian right movement openly expressed a desire to murder us on the action”.
Who is hated by Russian Nazis?
Stanislav Markelov, Russian attorney and human rights defender, was closed to Moscow antifa. He protected Anna Politkovskaya, victims of police pogrom in Blagoveschensk, presented the interests of relatives of died in “Nord-Ost” terrorist act, victims of Russian top-brassers in Chechnya.
Markelov represented the family of Elza Kungaeva, who was murdered by Jury Budanov, the colonel of Russian army. Russian boneheads declared him their “hero” and pressured on the attorney of Kungaeva’s family. The colonel Budanov was found guilty in the murder of 18-year Chechen girl.
Anastasia Baburova, native of Sevastopol, was the journalist of “Novaya Gazeta” (New newspaper) and activist of eco-anarchy movement. She was near Markelov in the day of murder on January 19, 2009. They were shot in the center of Russian capital.
Nikita Goryachev and Eugeniya Hasis, members of radical right-wing grouping Fighting Organization of Russian Nationalists (FORN) were accused and convicted in murder. Ilya Goryachev, the head of the organization “Russian image” become the organizer of the murder, according to the court’s opinion. Convicted to 18 years Hasis claimed that FORN was supervised by a certain Simunin, the subordinate of the head of Putin’s administration Vladislav Surkov. Leonid Simunin is nobody else as the “deputy of the Minister of Energy of DPR” and “watcher” from Surkov in Donetsk.
Zukhel, Tesak and Restrukt
Roman Jeleznov (Zukhel) and his brother-soldier Aleksander Parinov (Romanian) are considered by Russian media the sons of “Russian image” and of course closest pals to terrorists of FORN.

As soon as NS-radicals decided to register their movement, Center “E” (Main Department for Combating Extremism) engaged them.
The second sentence Jeleznov got for the attack of activist of Russian Socialist party of Zhigalev. Coming out from the colony, where he spent 10 months, Jeleznov quarrels with Tesak and goes away from “Restrukt”. Dmitriy Polyakov, headed the Novosibirsk filial of “Restrukt” said that “Jeleznov was recruited in the Main Department for Combating Extremism and he did their work in the organization till the end. Zukhel didn’t hide that he was collaborating with pharos during his imprisonment”.
Russian Gaza Strip
Jeleznov has come in Ukraine in 2014. The head of the information service of “Azov” Anna Sennik reported to journalists: “He is pursued in Russian Federation for his views. The criminal case is opened on him, he is wanted. He wants to enter the territory of Ukraine and ask for political asylum and to realize further his views , protecting Ukraine under the banner of “Azov”.
Zukhel is the leader of “Russian sector” of “Azov” regiment. According to different data, there are nearly 30 of Russians in this formation. The biggest part of Russian volunteers from “Azov” are right ultras. First commander of “Azov”, lieutenant colonel of the police and MP Andrei Biletsky said, that soldiers of the regiment will resist to any actions, directed against nationalists.
Stanislav, the representative of Kyiv antifa suppose that Ukrainian ultrarightists have changed not because of the presence of Russian fascists in their ranks, but because of the experience got by nationalists on the war. “They become more brave, because power almost not counteracts them”, adds our interlocutor.
“Azov” regiment also includes “Civic Corps”, which also inter alia “struggles with different anti-social and anti-national elements”. Zukhel is one of the activists of this organization. The editor of “Nihilist” edition Alexander Volodarsky speaks about Jeleznov in a this way: “Zukhel is the cop bone in the immigration, who was sitting quietly in Kyiv for a long time, didn’t do favorite things and organize anti-antifa actions. The real blood is on the hands of this man and the fact that he was allowed to enter Ukraine is a terrible shame, which could discredit local law enforcements if they had any positive “reputation”.
“Who said that you can judge them?”
According to the report of the source in the law enforcement Dept. all foreign volunteers are tested to belong to the Russian security services. Security Service of MIA also has checked them.”Yes, the biggest part of guys, gathered in “Azov” have their own perception of the world. But who said to you that you can judge them? Don’t forget what “Azov” battalion has done to the country… And any, who will say to me that these guys preach nazi views, wear a swastika etc., is lying and insane. I had a lot of hours of conversations with the soldiers of “Azov”. They neither have swastikas, nor nazism”, said Minister Avakov.

How National-Socialist from Russia appeared in the regiment’s location of National Guard of Ukraine? Working with Russian ultrarightists, Ukrainian Special Service gets leverage to influent on the moods in the radical environ in Russia, simultaneously strengthening the control under the extremists inside of Ukraine. New political reality, where archaic right-wing (All-Ukrainian Union “Svoboda”, for example) will be moved by “new Ukrainian far rightists”, is forming.
Such reality could disappoint its curators – people, who can kill not only at war, but on the peaceful streets, are entering the movement of Ukrainian nationalists. Their enemy is not the separatist from “L/DPR”, but civil activist – ecologist, anarchist, participant of the feminist movement, antifa.
According to the data of the monitoring of the protests, ultrarightist more often and often become the source of aggression in time of the street events and every fourth action ends with violence. “New Ukrainian far rightists” not the Ukrainophiles, as the old nationalists. Their ideology is racism and National-Socialism and Ukrainian Civil Society is their target.
