Bliss is over. Crimean draftees will be sent to serve in Russia countrywide

Inductees from occupied Crimea will be sent already from spring to serve throughout RF. The Head of the Main Organization and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian armed forces Vasily Tonkoshkurov has claimed about it, ‘RIA News’ writes.  

According to his words, if earlier, citizens who were recruited in Crimea, were directed to serve into units and services only in borders of the peninsula, now these limits are cancelled.

‘Restrictions have been acting only till January 1, 2017 and, beginning from the current year, citizens will be directed to serve in military units, located in other regions of the country, depending on the needs of troops’, Tonkoshkurov has explained.

He also said, that draft to Russian army in occupied Crimea and Sevastopol has been held already two years.

‘To provide rights of citizens, living in these subjects, the Federal law was accepted in 2014. According to it, all delays, provided them by the legislation of Ukraine, are kept. But IDP and refugee got the citizenship of Russian Federation, get the right on delay from draft’, Tonkoshkurov added.
