Jemilev hopes that sanctions against occupants will be only strengthened.

‘We really hope, that sanctions against the occupant will be strengthened and it will force it to leave occupied territories. Another exit is militar, but we see it unpromising. It will bring the ethnic cleansings and if there warfare begins there, peninsula could become uninhabitable’, Mustafa Jemilev stressed.

He also noted that the situation with human rights in occupied Crimea is permanently become worse and there are fear around at peninsula. And a lot of Crimean tatars want to leave it.

‘We barely restrain people not to leave Crimea, because it’s occupants’ strategy for tatars to leave Crimea. It depends not only Crimean tatars, but also pro-Ukrainian people’, Jemilev noted and added that the biggest pressure is made on Crimean tatars, because they claimed that won’t accept the occupation.
