Drugs, alcohol, desertion. Donbass fighters got party hard on the ‘Defender’s day’

‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ fighters had hard celebration of the ‘Day of Soviet Army’ anniversary. The Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports that on the eve of ‘celebration’ the Platoon Commander of 7th separate motorized rifle brigade (Bryanka) 2 AC dead from drug overdose.

‘February 23-26 were declared holidays by Russian occupational command to celebrate the anniversary of the Soviet army in formations and units of 1 AC (Donetsk) and 2 AC (Luhansk) of AF RF. To prevent offenses, connected with use of alcoholic beverages, military prone to alcoholism and drug addiction were sent on the advance under the pretext of the need to strengthen’, the intelligence noted.

However, according to the information, some military got great celebration before the anniversary.

‘The Platoon Commander of 7th separate motorized rifle brigade (Bryanka) 2 AC dead from drug overdose’ the Directorate clarified.

Otherwise, intelligence representatives noted the growth of desertion cases and coming back with the weapon to RF from the occupied part of Donbass of the representatives of the Cossack gangs.

‘The searching of two cossacks deserted from their units location without permit is continuing from February 20’, Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine emphasized.
