‘Military court of ‘LPR’ sentenced social media user to 14 years of imprisonment

‘Military court of ‘LPR’ has sentenced Luhansk inhabitant, businessman and blogger Edward Nedelyael aka Edward Ned to 14 years of imprisonment for ‘treason to LPR’. ‘LPR’ media has reported about it, referring on the ‘Deputy Chief of the Office for Supervision of Compliance with Laws in the Military Sphere of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Maksym Kozlov’.

‘On July 28, 2017 the Military court of LPR passed a verdict against citizen N. Citizen N., using social networks and instant messengers, disseminated negative information about the inhabitants of the LPR, humiliating honor and dignity of citizens, tried to kindle hatred and enmity towards the Russian nation’, Kozlov reported.

The closed source has reported to Informator.media that this is about Edward Ned, who was detained by ‘LPR’ fighters in November 2016.

The sentence will come into force in 10 days.

At the same day ‘Military court of LPR’ gave to citizen V. 12 years of imprisonment for making ‘treason by transmitting data of military content to foreign intelligence representatives’. The name of female hostage of pro-Russian fighters is unknown.

We would remind that up to 3000 people can be held in the basements of self-proclaimed ‘DPR’.
