Premier Vladimir Groysman, talking about parliament yesterday’s voting for pension reform, told what namely mark-ups pensioners will get.

According to Prime-Minister words base for calculating pension payments was changed by yesterday’s decision.

‘It was already 1190 UAH (~$43.86) up to October 1, and now the base for calculating will be 3764 UAH (~$138.72). Really not less than 1 mln. 308 th. of Ukrainian pensioners will get up to 200 UAH (~$8). From 200 to 500 (~$20) monthly – 1 mln. 208 th. From 500 to 1 th. UAH (~$40) almost 2 mln. Of Ukrainian pensioners. And more than 1 th. UAH of increasing will be got by 1 mln. 100 th. of Ukrainian pensioners. But the main is that system has began automatically work under the permanent pension increasing. Politicians won’t influent more at its size, no artificial coefficients, nothing more.

There is a percentage of inflation, the percentage of growth in the average wage in the country, once every year, all this will automatically be listed’, Premier explained.

Groysman noted that yesterday systemic increase of pensions in Ukraine has been beginning.

We would remind that on October 3, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine got 288 votes for pension reform. According to bill No. 6614, the increase in payments to at least 1452 UAH ($~53.57) is waiting for pensioners. But the necessary insurance experience will gradually increase to 35 years in 2028.
