It has become known who will be deprived participant in hostilities status in Ukraine

The government settled the issue of deprivation of the participant in hostilities (PIH) status, by making appropriate changes to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of August 20, 2014 No. 413.

It’s noted that changes, made by a decree of Cabinet of Ministers on October 18, 2017 No.789 provide the possibility of deprivation of PIH status persons, who took part in ATO, in case of a conviction of a court for committing a deliberate serious crime by a person, revealing the fact of providing untrue information about participation in the ATU, and also on a person’s personal application.

Also it’s noted in the text that changes were made in the statement on the Unified State Automated Register of Persons Eligible for Benefits, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of January 29, 2003, No. 117, on the inclusion in the register of relevant information on the loss of the right to benefits.

As of August 8, 2017 306 199 people, taken part in ATO, get the PIH status in Ukraine.
