Two hitch-hiked Ukrainians lost in Russia

Two Ukrainians – Alexander Babinets and Sergey Velev, who hitch-hiked, missed in Rostov region of Russian Federation. TSN has reported about it.

It’s noted that young people have gone on a trip already in the middle of August and visited Georgia.

One of the tourists, 25-year-old Babinets is from Dnipro. He got acquainted through mutual friends with 28-year-old Velev, who had already had hitch-hike experience in Ukraine, in particular, he independently got to Odessa and Hoverla.

According to words of mother of one of the travellers, guys wanted more to visit Georgia to get to know the local cuisine, because they both are workers in the restaurant industry.

They left Georgia approximately on September 30, directing home by short route – on the track ‘Caucasus’ through Kabardino-Balkaria, Stavropol and Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.

They were going to come back to Ukraine by the same way that they left it – through Kharkiv region, bypassing Belgorod. On October 7, not far from Rostov-on-Don Alexander and Sergey last time got in touch.

Woman reported that she applied to local police and embassy of Ukraine in Russia.
