The death penalty is going to be introduced in illegal armed formation «Luhansk People’s Republic». The “deputy of people’s council”  on security and defense, law enforcement and the judicial system, the rule of law, protection of rights and freedoms of man and citizen Konstantin Matsyurak reported about this on June 25, 2015.

The death penalty is in Criminal Code which is going to be accepted in a closer time. But it is still only a bill.

“It is possible that People’s Council will support the changes in this bills or maybe capital punishment won’t be accepted, but it is still in a law” — explained Konstantin Matsyurak

There was accepted only 5 laws in the court system: the main law about court system, about crreatiing of courts, about status of judges, about General Court and about court Department in General Court. Two more bills, relating to the judiciary — of the judicial community and the bankruptcy court, are pending.

The date of beginning of work of courts still is unknown. According to report from site of insurgents and separatists “MIA Istok” the General judge will be assigned by People’s Council, others — by leader of “LPR” Ihor Plotnitsky.
