The name of marshal Georgiy Zhukov is going to be assigned to Specialized school of foreign languages #36. The graduate of school #36, the chairman of the school board Jury Jurov reported about this at the opening of a monument to Zhukov  on 24th of June, 2015.

While the process of decommunization goes in Ukraine, the opposite things is done in Luhansk, it is the ressurection of all Soviet.

The opening of monument to Georgiy Zhukov near school #36 became one of such a facts. But leadership of the school decided not to stop on this. In a closer time the educational institution will be renamed. It will be called Middle Educational School #36 named by marshal Georgiy Zhukov.

Info: the marshal Georgiy Zhukov is the the initiator of the repressions of leading cadres of Soviet army. In time of WWII he was famous for his «uneconomical» attitude toward soldiers: the operations, held by Zhukov, were directly connected with huge losses of personnel. The aphorism “women will deliver more” is credited to him. He got the unofficial nickname “the butcher”. When he was the deputy of Minister of Defense of USSR, he became the initiator of nuclear tests in Totsk polygon. During this experiments according to rough estimates from 40 000 to 60 000 of militaries and inhabitants of closer settlements were subjected to the direct effects of radiation. In 1956, this time as Minister of Defence he oversaw the bloody suppression of the revolution in Hungary.

We would remind that on June 24, 2015 the monument to Georgiy Zhukov was opened near MES #36.
