Several days ago megaphone of separatists and fighters of “LPR” LuhanskInformCentr published another social poll, realized by a center of social studies “Osoby status”. Now average residents of occupied territory of Luhansk region became “experimental” in arms of researchers.

Topic of this poll is development of economy of “Luhansk People’s Republic”, but this time organizers decided to ask opinion of local residents.

LuhanskInformCentr reported that the study was realized on 12-14 of June, 2015 by interviewing people on streets of Luhansk. 804 respondents were interviewed. Calculating error is about 3,2% according to authors of the poll.

As last time we will look through diagrams, presented on the web site and analyze real moods of Luhansk residents. We will also compare it to opinion of the search organizers .

Let’s start.

Diagram№1: “How would you estimate affords of Luhansk People’s Republic in restoration of economy?”

A whole publication was dedicated to this diagram on the web site, where organizers expressed their happiness about intensified affords of the “LPR” leadership on restoration of economy.

What those figures mean?

Observing situation in the “LPR” on the separatists’ channel “Luhansk 24” and separatists’ web sites we can say that media of the “republic” try to develop positive opinion about authorities of the “LPR”. And including those few payments to teachers, medics and pensioners, which were made lately, positive response has increased. But general growth can be explained by a calculating error.

We have stable tendency: fifty-fifty. Because people, who find difficulties in replying we can surely label as those, who estimated affords as negative. Because we cannot forget in what country this poll was conducted.

Other diagrams show attitude of respondents to resolution of different problems in economy of the “LPR” by “authorities”.

Diagram №2: “Renewal of payments and benefits”

About 7% of Luhansk residents received payments. But authorities are very proud of this figure (and we can see who ordered this poll): “obviously, it is because of graduate resolution of the task by authorities and significant positive shifts in the sphere of social provision”. It means that 7% — is a significant shift? Nonsense!

Diagram№3: “Introduction of republican system of taxes and duties”

Here we see absolute absence of understanding by respondents of the question: where do authorities take money for Pension Fund and the budget? This diagram and previous one have to show similar figures. Because by solving this question, the state will resolve question of payments – collect taxes from enterprises and fill the budget and Pension fund. But residents of the “LPR” hope for tips. And I can imagine from whom: “putinpamagi!” (“Putinhelp!”)

Diagram№4: “Restoration of work of industrial enterprises”

But common sense and consciousness helped to estimate situation in “republic” in a right way. Luhansk residents understand that it is impossible to fill the budget and create new job opportunities without big enterprises. Residents of the “LPR” consider this task as one of the most important.

Diagram№5: “Distribution of humanitarian aid”

Here it comes – the question about “tips”.

Organizers were very happy to see this diagram – “great” results: “Sociologist registered reduction of actuality of a task “on distribution of humanitarian aid (in April – 70,7%, June – 63,5%), which was caused by general improvement of situation with pensions and benefits”.

Well done!

But I’ve seen same 7%! Same people, who got salaries and pensions lowered the number of those unsatisfied. There is no reason to be happy about 7%. It is not a good result!

Diagram №6: “Restoration of agriculture”

The first summer month is coming to an end and Luhansk residents haven’t seen cheep vegetables or fruits.

Organizers connect importance of this question with toughening of trade blockade of Donbass. I see another reason. According to observations, there are no tillaged fields between Luhansk and Stanitsa Luhanskaya. The most part of agriculture of Luhansk region is on the territory controlled by Ukraine. Of course, the blockade caused results, but it is not an essential reason of the problem.

Diagram №7: “Restoration of municipal and infrastructure objects”

The last diagram – is about water, gas, electricity and communication services, those things, which are very vulnerable to injury from shelling. To solve this question it is important to bring closer the end of confrontation and shelling. Because Luhansk depends a lot from territories, controlled by Ukraine.

Summary

The only one conclusion can be made here: average Luhansk residents, entrepreneurs understand that all problems can disappear only if occupied territories will come back under Ukrainian control; when Russia stops to provide fighters with weapons and ammunition; when the war stops…
