Ukraine is not going to supply uncontrolled territories with gas during heating period of 2015-2016. It was reported today on a” round table” in Kiev by the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Vladimir Demchishin. According to his words last heating period it was possible to pump gas on occupied territories of Donbass, because Ukraine had 16,6 billion m3 in stores. And last winter a part of Donetsk and Luhansk regions got 2 billion m3 of a blue fuel, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“With 16,6 billion m3 of gas last year we delivered 2 billion m3 of gas to the territory of Luhansk and Donetsk regions to uncontrolled territories, and we don’t see this coming this year”, — Demchishin reported.
We would remind that trilateral gas negotiations among European Union, Russia and Ukraine in Vienna on June 30 were unsuccessful. The Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Vladimir Demchishyn announced that Ukraine is not going to buy gas from Russia for a price set for the III quarter, — $247,18 for 1000 m³.
