Luhansk inhabitant Aleksei shared a cell with the different people including high-ranking “militants”  during a half a year into the captivity of field commander of “LPR” Batman. In the continuation of his memoirs former captive told about disgraced “chief of staff of the People’s Militia of Luhansk” Vasilevsky and also about who and how created and funded “LPR”.

Part three. Marshal

One very curious and colorful personality was thrown into the cell in one “perfect” moment. It was the man who ostensibly, as he told for long tous, created this unit of “RRT” (Rapid Response Team — edit.) and unit of Mozgovoy.

According to his words he supported Batman with money, weapon and food. He organized the supply of weapon from Russia, over the “Red Cross”. He claimed that with help of “Red Cross” you can supply the weapon even by trains.

He had the nickname “Marshal”, his surname was Vasilevsky, that’s why he was “Marshal”. He was enough known entrepreneur in Luhansk. According to his words his businesses were selling of cars, building of housing and different juridical services. He said that Youth housing complex in the centre of the city it is his child. He boasted that hre is very prosperous man and that to Pristyuk (Head of Regional State Administration Lugansk region from 2011 to 2014) he entered the cabinet, “opening the door with his foot”.

He told that it was his own initiative to create contacts with FSS. He wrote the receipts to them and gave money to Batman. And he found warm response and support there as I understood. The money were received on his bank cards and it was the hundreds of thousands and millions of hryvnia. When money of FSS had finished he began to remove them from his accounts. He spent a few millions of hryvnias on the purchase of food and cigarettes.

he told how he organized the food supply. The truck from Russian side came to the border, the truck from Ukrainian side of this unit also came close to border, the driver was asked: “Is this they are?” — “Yes, here are they”.

“I was standing near and it looked that I didn’t have any relationship to it. They reloaded from one car to another and that’s all” — he said.

He resented for long that Batman threw him on the cellar.

He created this unit, he put Batman in the head of it, he supplied him with everything, he gave him all the channels of food, weapon and money supply. And this, as he said, “ungrateful creature” who called him as friend and brother threw him into the cellar. As I understood Batman decided to take all the credit himself, so as not to share with anyone the power and the glory.

He wrote to “Batman“ some memoranda, some reports. Tried to pass them through the somebody, but he failed. The fighter who gave the documents to “Batman” had a lot of troubles from “Batman” himself. That’s why everyone began to start aside from him.

Before we were removed from the cellar in East Ukrainian University, “Marshal” was sent on the brig. Later it was found out that he asked to go on the street and ran away. Maybe he bribed a watch, but he was shot.

Now “Marshal” is somewhere in Russia. He told that he sent his family there and was preparing some business projects, connected with agriculture…
