The ruins and punched through houses. There is almost no survivor houses. The school overgrown with weeds, without windows and somewhere walls… The correspondent of informator.lg.ua was at the village, which alike the decorations of the post-apocalyptic film.

The porch of the residential house is full of beams and things of the tenants, who won’t have a wish to come back in the native house in the closer time.

The soldiers told about this building a very interesting story. “There slept three man in this room. There also was partition and people were carried out with beds at night after the direct hit of a tank. But, they “were born in the body armors”. Everyone stayed alive. Only one of them had a little bruised of heel” — “Sova”, the commander of unit of 93th brigade, told to us.

The fighters often suffer from the shellings too. Their stories are no less interesting. The soldier with the callsign “Gutsul” has got out from the ruins alive not so long ago absolutely without armour. It was after the hit of the shell, shot from tank. He said, that wasn’t any fear, everything happened fast enough, they haven’t understood it. Thank God all soldiers are alive.

The church with damage domes is not far away. The soldiers say that its walls sometimes protect more than dugouts. Occasionally, preachers come here and conduct liturgies in it or closer to church.

There is the holy water indoor the unfinished temple. Here every desirous can put a candles for the health.

There is no survivor trees. All of them have broken tops.

The grass is burning from permanent shellings, that’s why village more alike the ashes. The soldiers of 93rd brigade are on the guard serenity of the locals every day. They’re saying that they will hold the position till the end. They believe, that temple of Moscow Patriarchate, how ironically it may sound in the current situation, will help them to win and come back the peace in Peski.
