The artist from Perm, who is pursued by FSS for the pro-Ukrainian views, haven’t got yet the status of refugee in Ukraine. Anton Myrzin is well-known in the first term as Paperdaemon. He is the author of anti-Russia posters. He had the exhibitions in Kyiv, Lviv and Kharkiv. Except all of this Paperdaemon is the original thinker and culturologist and that’s why the correspondent of informator.lg.ua used the opportunity to made the interview with the artist about war in Donbass, liberals and Russian propagand.

• Anton, you’ve come to Ukraine on December 7, 2014. Why you’ve chosen our country? However, being persecuted by FSS about “the art”, you could choose another country.

• Unfortunately, I couldn’t. I had not international passport to the moment of the beginning of persecution. So, I hadn’t any choice only to go to Ukraine and it was the only opportunity to went out from there with inside Russian passport. However, in spite of the compulsion of my removing I’m glad that the centre of political events is around me. They are taking place on one of the main post-Soviet space.

• Ukrainian Migration Service has the reputation of corrupted and slowly moving bureaucratic monster. According to a numerous recalls of the foreigners, who had contacts with it, this service is doing the policy to squeeze the political immigrants from the country. It’s practically unreal to get the refugee status to the citizen of Russia. What about your status in Ukraine did you had the opportunity to get the residence here?

• I’m on the process of getting the status of political refuge at the present time. But I have only the certificate about the defense on the territory of Ukraine except my passport which is kept in The Migration Service. Yes, the system of The Migration Service is inertial enough, but I want to hope that I will get the things that I need in a closer time. I don’t think about the residence, it’s my next stage after the refugee.

And also there was the information at the beginning of the year that Poroshenko will simplify the procedure of giving the asylum for the opposition of Russia.

• What is the difference between Ukrainian State Machine with Russian?

• Maybe, it’s compares in the common atmosphere of service. Everything is doing decent, without straining emotional, which I was needed to watch in Russian system, knowing not by hearsay. But what depends terms — it is still on the Soviet level.

• I want to ask about two immigrants from Russia. Such people sometimes began to transmit here the archaic ideas about “trice folk” or “we are all brothers” and they support our struggle against the occupiers wherein. Why our situational allies are in the power of total mythes and silly  representations about Ukrainians?

• It’s because of their shortage or full absence of political subjection, will to power, which they consider shameful and obscene. It’s because they criticize Putin’s power from the one side and from another they use the same myths as it uses. They don’t think to go to be leaders by themselves to do everything right and to be responsible for their actions personally. And nothing can be done on one’s own, especially the so-called “positive changes”. You know, it’s not enough kitchen and intelligent pathos for the real upgrade of social and political situation in Russia.

• Who are Russian liberals and why they “rotting” when the talks about Ukraine begins?

• Unfortunately, lion’s share and the biggest part of Russian liberals are from the Komsomol rounds or even from Communist parties.  The things that were sowed in the subcortex began to demonstrate itself in case of collision of “political litmus”, which is the Ukrainian question today. I wrote a lot about Navalny. Venedikov, who is the chief-editor of the most format “steam whistle”, pseudoliberal resource which consists on the money of “Gasprom”. One representative of liberal society is Boris Grebenschikov, the huru of “Russian Buddhism”, who presents the amorphous, sluggish, detached, passive inaction and observation of the reality. It looks like carr and viscous swamp, which involves the minded on the bottom, increasing the degree of social and political protest in Russia. Everything from this is done because of notorious “stability”. In this way Grenschikov took part consciously or unconsciously in the forming of real Kremlin policy in Russia. A lot of another creative personalities prefer the equidistant, indifferent position. Does he understand what is he doing? Maybe, but in common sense, he hardly knows the result of it. But from the other side the musician is not a politic, he takes part wittingly or unwittingly in the political process, because he has the influence on some target group or even on the masses of people. The opponents of Russian liberals, such as Limonov, Prokhanov or Kurginyan are the disgusting parasites of the animal opportunism and statist conditions, who after all (if they will stay alive) will write about how the were made to do something and blackmailed to do what they are doing now. And it is the better exit and everything absolutely understood with them.

• Did you tried to hold your own sociology, how many “vatnicks” (epithet) — a radical pro-Russian uneducated aggressive person — ed.) in Ukraine? What surprises you in a negative way about Ukrainian society and what stamps of the Soviet archaic do you notice on its body?

• Yep, I noticed the single cases of peremptory statements, like “there another Russians don’t exist”, “you are all imperials anyway”. But such things are not through the masses, so, it pleases me. There isn’t almost “Soviet” in Ukrainian society, except, maybe indifferent treatment of the number of citizens to Soviet Victory in WWII, it’s based on the participation and death of the part of Ukraine in it. It’s hard to call The Victory, mostly it is the big altar. We can remind the forcing of Dnipro, where almost disarmed Ukrainians from the neighbor villages and cities were forced under the machine guns of detachment squads to assault German fortifications. It’s hardest war crime of the “Soviets” against Ukraine. Nobody haven’t got the punishment for it yet on the analogy with Nurnberg process against National-Socialist Germany.
• 
• Pro-Kremlin propaganda scares Russian with Revolution, it blackmails the with layman inevitability of war in case of changing the regime. Do Maidan is possible in Russia? Do neo-Soviet Empire will be crushed and could the death of t become the geopolitical disaster in what Ukraine could suffer?

• Maidan is hardly possible in Russia. At first, because of a big sizes and volumes of it also it’s because of number of excellence of forces of so-called “law enforcemetns” of Putin’s militia, secret services and inside troops. At second, the breakdown of Russia is not profitable for the West, paradoxically but it’s true. It’s because in a case of such cataclysm numerous tactical nukes can get to real criminal gangs. The strategic nukes likely no longer exist — they are out of order, because almost no updated since the collapse of the USSR. The dangerous weapon can be sold to “ISIS” or even to any of dictators of the Third World. West understands this and that’s why it doesn’t finance the change of the power in Russia, worrying about losing the control under the tactic nuclear weapon. Ukraine, unfortunately, has already suffered from this process of “half-life”. To an extent the modern West also is responsible for the situation in Ukraine, because it didn’t carry out the conditions of Budapest Memorandum on guarantees of protection of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.I even had a poster on this subject.

• What is the power of “vatnaya” propaganda and what technologies use in Russian media-polygon?

• First of all it is the fear of changes. The public, that eats such the retrospective “thoughts”, the animal farm, imaginary greatness, «victoriosity», the notorious spirituality, where the arsenal of the instruments is not big, is the uneducated. That’s why Russian mass-media have been preparing cloudy boiling by the old “Soviet” teacher-books. The common principle of Hebbels for Russian propaganda sounds like “simplify and repeat” and it’s better to do 24/7 . That’s what do “bearers” from the number of estrada “persons”, icons of the show-business and any service of The Putin’s Regime.

• One of the horrors that Russian TV-spectators are got is the “Fairy tale about the Right Sector and regimen “Azov”. From the point of view of the artist such images and esthetic of these volunteer organizations were developed for the trolling of “vata” or this images, emblems and logos has the mystic power, that makes the fear for the “Soviet” people, weren’t they?

• In common the symbol is the archetype, projected on the reality in a way of understanding to mediocre viewer. The archetype of the “Black Sun” is the one of the occult symbols of unknown chaos, which is like disembodied, this means potential order not brothel. At the same time the main emblem of the regiment “Azov” is the mighty symbol of the current time, which can not have the same inductive effect, making the mobilization action on some persons and paralyzing on anothers. I consider this symbol more powerful than swastika, but, in the same time it’s more «Politically correct» for the wide using. That’s why I’m glad that I found myself in the hands of Ukrainian patriots. This makes to do great actions.
• According to if volunteer forces tried to do something to troll the “vata” I have a big doubts. They were followed by the way of their mentality and the reaction of Russians would be such as we are seeing it now. It was inadequate. And moreover it stays to suppose how with such a symbol of Ukrainian armed resistance, like “The Black Sun” Russian URA-patriot society would slam and mosh in the tryings to crush it down.

• Did you suppose that Russia will war with Ukraine? One of your posters says that the war on Donbass is the continuation of war in Chechnya. What the perspectives does Ukraine has to win in this conflict?

• I supposed and even has been writing about it in 2013. “2014 it’s the first of all the year of The Olympics in Sochi. It’s unprecedented in terms of volume of the cutting of the event. It’s the last huge waste of existing regime, which had already chosen all the stocks of meanings and strategies of the development. The consequences after crossing this border would be reactional compression. The terrorist acts, the beginning of the military campaign in the spirit of «small victorious wars», etc., like artificially created tensions, could become the reaction. All of this is fraught with international isolation with the inevitable liquidation of foreign accounts of Russian “elite” or the variants of another development of events would be observed.

• Tell me please about exhibitions of your works in Ukraine and also why you have chosen the poster? Had the FSS scared of the posters?

• The first exhibition was in the Centre of the Contemporary Art M17 of city Kyiv. It was in November-December of the last year and it became the first public exhibition at all. It had the effect of the exploded bomb (smiling). The poster is cheap and crosly. So, this means that this way is one of the most productive in the sphere of the informational war. FSS was afraid of the expression of radical political ideas through public and universal form — the poster. My posters were at Lviv and Kharkiv.

• What plans do you have in Ukraine and what about your social circle in Ukraine? What is needed to be done to make your exhibitions in another cities? Are you going to visit province and to make the meetings with likers of your creativity?

• I have a different social circle. It consists from people of creative and political activity to activists and fighters of Ukrainian volunteer squads. My plan first of is to get the status of the refugee and to have at last the opportunity to move calm round the country. I ought only to be in Kyiv now, because I need to go to interview in the migration service. It’s not so hard to make my exhibition in other cities or towns. You need onle to connect with me in social media like “vk.com” or “Facebook” and then I will upload to you my posters in the high quality for the print and the next mounting on the exhibition. I’m not going to visit the province with my works.

• Ukrainians are believing to the churches more than power and politics. What is the church in the modern world?

• Maybe they trust, but I’m sure that church and faith is the diametrical opposite things. The faith is the highest aim and at the same time church it is only business whatever of any understanding of God.

• What do you think Ukrainians need to change in their consciousness to escape from the captivity of “Soviet” representations about themselves and world around?

• First of all they need to form and start to live the project of Ukrainian political Nation. They need to trust to young and energy people to detect how to live for everyone. It’s a big need to get rid from the administration of times Kravchuk-Kuchma-Yanukovich. It is needed to be changed on the progressive thinking youth. It’s because the skill like the son of hard mistakes of a few years is more better than intentional corruption sabotage, stretched for decades. Since the subject potential of Ukraine is high enough, therefore the tests that befell on the Ukrainian people also of high graduation. However, the true Ukrainian character will be forged in them.
