Military of Armed Forces of Ukraine get an order to answer on the provocations of the insurgents in all possible ways. According to the report of the press-service of General Headquarter, the employees of Kyiv office of OSCE, observers from the staff of Monitoring Mission of OSCE and representatives of Russian Federation, taking part in working of  General Centre for control and coordination were informed about yesterday’s attack of the insurgents.

The press-service of General Headquarter of Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on its page in Facebook in the night from 10th on 11th of August the statement about the events of the past day.

“Last night Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attack of the insurgents. Near four hundreds of pro-Russian mercenaries with support of artillery and heavy machinery tried to drive away ATO forces from the position along the demarcation line. The attack was repulsed and terrorists suffered losses retreated.

During a day insurgents more than 15 times, violating Minsk agreements, fired on our strongholds, using the weapon more than 100 mm.

The HQ of ATO, the leadership of General HQ used all possible ways to curb the illegal actions of militants, but there wasn’t any adequate answer from the side of insurgents, they continued to make shelling on positions of ATO forces” — General HQ of AFU  claimed.

General HQ noticed that “forces and means of ATO which are involved for the execution of the tasks in this direction are ready to rebuff the enemy, if insurgents doesn’t stop the provocations and continue to fire on our positions”.

The leadership of HQ of ATO keeps the situation under control.

We would remind that shelling of positions of AFU near Starohnatovka of Telmanovsky district of Donetsk region began on August 10 at 3:25 am with using of the heavy artillery of calibre of 152 mm.
