The level of water in the mine of “Yunye Kommunary” (Enakievo, Donetsk region) increased 900 meters. According to report of source to the correspondent of informator.lg.ua the risk of pollution of groundwaters with radioactive elements grows every day. Nuclear tests was held in the mine in Soviet times. One of the shells didn’t blow and still there underground.

We would notice that waters of   “Yunye Kommunary” connected to the drain of mine «Yuzovskaya» which ultimately enter the river. Till the last time the water was pumped out from “Yuzovskaya” mine, but now water there stands on the point 400 meters above the horizon.

As it was reported earlier, the pump equipment was stolen on “Yuzovskaya” mine, as a result pumping out of water was stopped. Now, the Seversky Donets basin threatens ecological disaster in the form of radiation contamination of local waters.
