Once not so long ago I was invited on the volunteer conference… In our country word “volunteer” turned from honest assistant into the symbol of changes and the only moving force of it. And it’s very justly… I was invited there as the service staff and my richest skill of barman and officiant activity long time ago taught that on a public event I always take a role of servant.

One clever guy once quoted me a phrase from one of the films: “It’s not so shame to serve people, even God do it. And it’s like you pose as a cool pepper…” Since, it is one of my favourite occupations, sometimes it’s necessary thing to stop such “constructing” and begin to serve to the people.

I live enough on this planet and I’m strongly charged with cynicism with “parties” like this and also I’ve invited enough number of such events to treat skeptically to things happened around. Well, and really people put on themselves mad for its weight burden. They made it voluntarily, essentially for free. They went out on this trail and found themselves in a position of Kafka’s railway passengers, who turned up in railway tunnel in a place “where light at the beginning is extinguished and light of end is so weak, that look sometimes loses it. And you can’t be sure in the existence of the beginning and the end at all”. You can treat in every manner to a creativity of this person, but, as it is not sad, he’s not infrequently far from the truth.

However, let’s go back to participants of the conference. People, shoulder the burden, of course vital need to turn up in environ of the their own kind to feel that “you’re not the only one” and swallow “oxygen” to continue this activity. Such a feeling was so unstable, that it finished from the first minute of the speech at the beginning. You know, people are not pretending, they are really carriers of some secret knowledge, which maybe already began to change the face and soul of our country. It’s amazing, but they even don’t need to have power in Ukraine for the beginning of this changing. We can only guess, how deep can be all this changes, if they can get this power. We accustom for all this years that carrier of authority must be the representative of so-called top brass. It’s either retired military with large shoulder straps, or a representative of militia, or prosecutor, or somebody who has “protocol appearance”. It was believed that they carry some knowledges and have a boon of “ruling” of difficult situations. I, thanking to God, is not only me convince that their main boon it’s first of all creating of difficult situations and next heroic events for some correction of it (with next enrichment of “ruling person”).

There is no a special need to explain for what does all this have led us all the previous years. No we’re staying in a such point, where carriers of shoulder strap ought to finally move and to do their duties. This means bearing their services and ruling of the law. Real state authority must be given to people with absolutely unstandard mind, humanitarian world view and it’s desirable with technical education. It’s because “Techies” are called to create the stable working systems, but lawyers are need only to pettifoggery with “letting in The Great Nebula”. Of course it’s only my opinion, but successful reforms in Czech Republic were held by Vaclav Havel and the Minister of the Interior at the same time was Yan Ruml, a person, which doesn’t have any relationships with neither to state power nor to work of police. In our conditions it’s really hard to imagine something look alike can happen in our country.  However, it seems to have, because our “professionals” and “competent leaders” absolutely discredited themselves.

It’s time to move and to give a way to people who begin from concrete actions and from help to concrete people. There is no difference if they are warriors, who was feeded, shod, clothed and armed after that or they are internally displaced persons, who plucked from their familiar places “in what they were”. They were also shod and clothed and then there was found some housing for them. All of this was made without any spending time on a gettting of official authorities, the beautiful posts, which could be write on a business card.

By the way, if somebody carried away I forgot to tell about the name of the event. I was called “x.O. Conference”. Listening to speeches, then analyzing them, you begin to understand how it’s useful to meet with everybody, who involved in this activity, to exchange the experience, which, of course, is very different in everyone. And the main thing is the use of turning up in such environ for involved or still not involved. In conclusion, the memories about guests and organizers remember the quote from John Maxwell: “All people look like a lift. The difference only in one thing, some of them are able to elevate you, another has only one button with inscription “cellar” on it.” Thanks to destiny and to those, who invited me to visit elevators from first category. Yes, of course, I heard a lot of times that power corrupts, that the one who come to kill a dragon after some time can become a dragon. Such things is spoken by narrow-minded people, who are not going to change something. And if you do not change something, nothing won’t change.
