67 countries supported the offer to limit the right of veto at Security Council. Permanent Representative of Ukraine in United Nations Jury Sergeev reported about it in his Twitter. The aim of this initiative is to limit abuse the right of veto, which uses Russia.

“67 countries supported the initiative of retention from right of veto at Security Council to stop abuse of right of veto by Russia” — reported Sergeev.

We would remind that Security Council didn’t accept on July 29 the resolution about creation of the tribunal for criminal prosecution of guilty in air crash of Malaysian plane, which was knocked out from Russian anti-aircraft missile system «Buk» near Donetsk. 11 countries, members of Security Council voted for document, offered by Malaysia in co-authorship with other countries, that is enough to approve resolution. But Russia used its right of veto and blocked this acceptance.
