The hatred to everything Ukrainian, more precisely to everything “not Russian”, in industrial part of Lugansk was brought by a lot of migrants who came from Russia. Ukrainians who were living in their republic were often a minority in industrial centers on the East. When Ukraine got its independence the attitude to Ukrainians from comic word “hohol” changed to cautious, concepts of soviet propaganda (“mazepintsy”, “petlyurovtsy”, “banderovtsy”) were reincarnated in the mass consciousness of pro-Russian residents, who were witnesses of deaf of cozy, but inhuman empire.

Hatred goes along with fear not only in the name of novel of Hunter Thompson. The attitude that soviet citizens had toward the West got reincarnated and made them be afraid of imaginary «fascists».

Fear and hatred to Ukrainians as closest European nation became fear and hatred to all the West.

Successors of true Bandera followers got on armored vehicles and started to protect the unity of Ukraine. Naturally that became real conformation that Ukrainians are not only dangerous when it’s about their independence and freedom, but that also confirmed soviet fears.

They got out NKVD propaganda files a photo of crazy gypsy from Poland who hung her children and they also added fake story of “crucified” boy from Slavyansk.

Scary word “zachistka” (means to clean the area from terrorists house by house in Russian) was returned to everyday life vocabulary, that word was often used during Russian-Chechen wars. At that time Russian troops and secret service were “cleaning” the country from freedom fighters and now “Ukrainian panishers” were liberating Ukrainian cities from armed separatists.

Pro-Russian population of Donbass was becoming not just an object, but the subject of history. On Russian TV residents of the republic were getting romantic image of freedom fighters, “militia” were resisting and heroically dying on the front line of “World War III”. The task of passive separatists was just to take part in “referendum”, Russia would take care about everything else, strong and strict mother that can protect from “bloody Junta”.

The hate speech that was forgotten after liberation movement was eliminated in 50-ies by soviets got revived. Hated Ukrainians of all nations were becoming “ukro-scums” and “banderlogs”, Ukraine suddenly “doesn’t exist”. Under outrageous Russian media pressure residents of Donbass got into the middle of the war, and infrastructure and industry stopped to function and “feed all Ukraine”. It was destroyed by fear and at the same time the hatred towards Ukraine was killing all human in the hearts of separatists.

Reporter Oksana Sabardina thinks that fear of imaginary and that is why realistic danger caused self-destruction of Donbass. “Looking at Donbass I think that Maya were eliminated by mystical horror. For generations they were living waiting for the end of the world and trying to get protected from that they sacrificed all their achievements, not technological, by moral first of all. Same shit happened to residents of Donbass. Scared of fascists and bEnderovtsy same as Maya were scared of their own fears, they are ready to surrender all the gains of civilization”. In modern Donbass industrial factories are not producing anything right now or destroyed. Most of the infrastructure is destroyed, international economic ties are broken, democratic system of power is dismantled and replaced with a rule of giving “labels” to watchers in exchange for loyalty. But unlike civilized approaches to conflicts, Moscow geo-politic strategy doesn’t consider civil population to be something valuable. It was more important for Russia to use captured territory as an instrument to blackmail Ukraine and Europe. Moscow doesn’t care about people who are afraid of and hate their country and they don’t care about destroyed region.

Soul was eaten by Fear

Real punishers, “militia” rabbles and Russian mercenaries, feel safe on occupied territories of Donbass. That can be explained by similarity of mental matrixes of most of the population of occupied territories and alien “liberators”. Fear of authorities is a constant component of Russian culture, same as fear of authorities or oligarchs in Donbass. Pro-Russian residents of Donbass are afraid of Russians, but they don’t hate them. Probably deceived countrymen understand that real punishers are really dangerous and hatred towards them can cause real trouble.

During madness attack Medea killed her brother, kids and uncle. During fear attack residents of Donbass became accomplice in the murders, violence and destructions. Europe, Ukraine and Donbass will never be the same again, their past was eaten by fear and same happened to the souls of people of failed “Novorossiya”.
