The substantial trial on the case of Nadezhda Savchenko is going now in Donetsk district court of Rostov region. Ilya Novikov the attorney of Nadezhda Savchenko reported about it to Tv-channel “112 Ukraine”. The building of the court, where trial is going on, is secured by police units and strengthen squads of cossacks. It was reported earlier that session will be open to the public.

Later the judge decided that only consuls and attorneys will be present in the courtroom. Journalists will watch the trial in the room for video-translation.

Today the court will interrogate victims, relatives of the murdered journalists, witnesses and experts.

Nadezhda Savchenko was given an opportunity to make the affirmation in time of the trial. Savchenko demanded to «remove» from prosecution extra victims. Probably, sme meant Russian journalists in death of whom she is blaming.

“I support attorneys and consider that extra victims… in this case need to be removed from it. Or we do like we have talked on our preliminary hearing or add 10 more, those 1 separatists, who with arm in their hands were killing Ukrainian people, died at that battle, where your Russian journalists died. That’s all I wanted to say” — Savchenko said.

As it was reported earlier prosecutor of Luhansk region directed to court the indictment against inhabitant of Lisichansk for assistance to fighters of “LPR”.
