Informator.lg.ua prepared the review of the most curious materials, colourfully illustrated life in “people’s republic” for those who don’t have an opportunity to read the newspapers of “LPR”.

“Воин Святограда” (Svyatograd warrior) #16 from April 10, 2015

Not so recent, but very a valuable and long-awaited release of favourite newspaper in “LPR”. It’s a pity that it’s so hard to find new fresh issues last time: maybe everything is too bad in Editorial office or newspaper sells out after a first moments of going to press. Traditional rubric “Чудеса Луганщины” (Wonders of Luhansk region) is opening the newspaper. This time for the wonders was equated Derkula’s stud. Article is notable in that it brazenly stolen and notably cut (to reduction were undergone all mentions of Ukraine and just boring facts) of Ekaterina Nasredinova from her materials of 4 years ago for one Kharkiv’s publishing.

For a comparing only 1 sentence from original version of article:

“In the middle of XVIII century the forming of  centralized Russian country (Ukrainian lands were the part of Russia) was ending, but south borders were attacked by nomadic tribes”.

Can you guess what was cut? Yeah, that’s right, all that is in brackets (even a comma prevented by something to copywriter).

And in the end of review of this rubric, one more question for geeks: who is “ahaliteyskie horses”? There is no explanations in original article and in a stolen variant.

Actually, between you and me, “wonders” in the newspaper are continuing in other rubrics. We can take, for example, the note where wrote that we ought to consider May 6 like holiday. After all, in this day a year ago building of SSU was captured in Luhansk, next will be better to quote: “April 6 is a date when actually began to form our Luhansk People’s Republic. It’s a first municipal building that was exorcised from nazism, first square meters of republic”. Wow, nazi is in Kiev, nazi is Luhansk, they’re everywhere.

Or another article of Vitaly Darensky (by the way, first article for all issue where name of author pointed): “Origin of Novorossiya”. Entertaining fiction, according to which “Novorossiya” is older than Ukraine. If Ukraine wasn’t invented in USSR it wouldn’t exist at all. Stuff like this: “Ukraine as national and territory unit was created personally by V. Lenin”.

Nothing remarkable more in this issue. Serafima Svytogradskaya, unfortunately, didn’t honour us, readers, to acquaint with her new knowledge of history and linguistics .

The newspaper “XXI век” (“XXI century”) #89 (1502) from April 28 2015

Let’s start from the first article “Creativity unites” by Artem Porvin. It dedicates to concert of rock-music in Luhansk within festival “Sun rises” held in Luhansk on April 25.

A little bit of original quote:

“Local collectives “Kuba Shuba”, “Faust” and “War of Emotions” were lucky to perform on one stage with legends of Russian rock: ex-leader of “Agata Kristi”, singer Julia Chicherina and group “7B”. First faces of Luhansk People’s Republic came to enjoy the quality music. Somebody from “Faust” group also adds: “We insanely worried and didn’t expect, that our original texts, vocal, music and emotions were like to all spectators”.  And, at last, one more quote from note of Artem Porvin: ”One of impressive things was that some of quite young audience knew the texts of legendary songs. This means that youth knows their history”.

I don’t want to comment it and to stick my opinion to person reading these lines. I just give an excerpt from compositions of some of the participants :

“Жил был Вася, погоняло «лысый»

Путевый в доску северский пацан

Жил он среди братьев, жил он по понятьям

Разводил лохов на чистоган”. («Фауст»)

(free translation, closer to sense, because of prison slang of Russians:

«There once was Vasya, nickname «bald»
Near and dear  Seversky kid
He lived among the brothers , he lived by the rules
Divorce suckers for lucre»)

«Я сказал — успокойся и рот закрой,

Вот и всё, до свидания, чёрт с тобой.

Я на тебе, как на войне, а на войне, как на тебе,

Good quality music, knowing of which by youth is commendable and worthy of respect.

In general all first page is very positive for average “citizen of “LPR”: concert “Sun Rises”, concert in Bryanka (“in cooperation with commandant of the city”), reduction the price on a fuel, celebration of the 1st of May, holiday of “labor protection” on April 28, celebration of May 9 and attention — “Leader of “LPR” Ihor Plotnitsky by his decree establish a state holiday — Day of Luhansk People’s Republic, which will be celebrated on 12th of May”.

Or here is another one good news, which is located in rubric “Local time” on the 5th page: young activists, including future miss “LPR” cleaned up the platform for summer picture show”. Actually that’s the essence of the article. What city needs more than summer picture show and miss “LPR”? And more: “…platform will be free from alcohol and cigarettes”. Melancholy, sadness.

Maria Miroshnichenko in article “Surprise for filmgoers” informed about opening the film club “Takikino” (correctly, we can speak about not opening, but ressurection of work of film club. If believe in a content of article, it took place earlier in a rooms of Luhansk Regional Research Library named Gorky). Well, the republic apparently needs the summer picture shows and film clubs far more than such trifles as the payment of salaries, pensions and benefits.

If somebody has an interest about location of this two objects, film club is on address Karl Marx st. 7 and summer picture show will be in square of “Molodaya gvardiya” (Young guards). Besides that, “Takikino” has it’s own representation even in social net”VK”. Moreover, 5 people signed on this page (data, maybe, changed to the moment of issuing review, it can be there seven or even 10 persons).

Oh yeah, exactly, according to newspaper on May 20 will be held “Beauty and talent contest “Miss Luhansk People’s Republic”. As a reward the winner will go to Russian Federation to take part in a regular beauty contest.
