Luhansk region. It is relatively quiet in Luhansk, there are no shootings. Local residents report about cut-offs of water and electricity. Authorities connect it with damages of Aydar and Petrovsk pumping stations and promise to resolve those problems.
Shchastya city was shelled by separatists from grenade launchers several times. Ukrainian soldier was injured yesterday. A power unit of Shchastya thermal power station was switched off yesterday because of the bad weather. Electricity supply has been recovered by 11 AM. Fighting took place near the power station today afternoon. Small arms, anti-aircraft guns and grenade launchers were used.
Stanitsa Luhanska and Bolotne villages have been under the fire since yesterday evening. They were shelled from grenade launchers, machine guns and anti-tank missiles. Law-enforcement bodies managed to prevent an act of terrorism in Stanitsa Luhanska. They found and defused radio-controlled land mine, which was placed near the Pension Fund’s building.
Rodina and Krymskoe villages were shelled near the Bahmut road. Two local residents were injured in Rodina. A truck of the AFU blew up on a land-mine near Krymske, two Ukrainian soldiers were injured and hospitalized.
Donetsk region. Night and day were quiet in the city. According to the press office of the Donetsk City Council, 14 transforming sub-stations had been off by today morning, 225 subscribers had no gas supply.
In the morning separatists shelled Ukrainian positions around the territory of the Donetsk International Airport near Peski and Opytne villages. Today Ukrainian side got bodies of 5 dead soldiers, who were killed before in the battle near the airport and Sanzharovka village. Bodies were sent to Dnepropetrovsk for identification.
Leninskoe village near Artemovsk city was attacked by separatists from mortars of 120 mm.
It was relatively quiet in the Mariupol’s direction today.
