A brother of separatist commandant of Antratsit city Vagif Kerimov, who was arrested by Ukrainian law enforcement officers in April, Roman Kerimov escaped from Kiev region where he was working as a judge at the end of May-June, 2015. Possible reason for escape is a fear of criminal prosecution because of a work for separatists within “national tribunal of the LPR” in Antratsit city.

Acting chairman of the Directorate General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Donetsk region Iliya Kiva published on his page in social network photos of arrest of the “commandant” of Antratsit city Vagif Kerimov.

He commented that brother of the “commandant” kept implementing judicial practice on the territory of Ukraine.

“Kerimov Vagif Vagifovich – commandant of Antratsit city, traitor of Motherland and terrorist, who ruined dozens of Ukrainian lives was arrested by me and Korchinskiy on 21.04!!! His brother Kerimov Roman Vagifovich is also a traitor of Motherland, who has worked together with his brother for “LPR” separatists lately, managed to buy a soft post of a judge in Kiev region!!! How can the traitor of Ukraine work as a judge in Ukraine?!!!”, — Iliya Kiva wrote.

Roman Kerimov has been acting chairperson of Antratsit city regional Court for many years.

According to information of organization “Bratstvo.info”, Roman Kerimov joined “judicial power of the LPR” and passed sentences on behalf of so-called “national tribunals of the LPR”.

Roman Kerimov was transferred to the post of a judge of Rzhishev city Court according to the order of the President Poroshenko № 85/2015 from February 14, 2015 and has worked in Kiev region since that time.

Nevertheless, Roman Kerimov couldn’t hide the fact of work in “national tribunal”. E. Kushnarenko – resident of Antratsit gave evidence against Roman Kerimov, who sentenced him to death as a “national judge” of the so-called “national tribunal of the LPR” of Antratsit city. He also gave evidence against his younger brother Vagif Kerimov, who robbed him, kidnapped and tortured.

Kushnarenko addressed national deputy Igor Mosiychuk and he wrote a deputy request to the Minister of Interior of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.

A criminal proceeding was opened against the judge Roman Kerimov.

But it is very difficult in Ukraine to prosecute a person in a judge’s robe, that is why Kerimov managed to leave Kiev and go to the territory of “LPR” controlled by fighters.

“The point is that according to the “Law of Ukraine about judicial proceedings and status of judges”, detention of a judge, such measure of restrain as detention in custody or a house arrest and delivery of a guilty verdict by the Court cannot be done without agreement of the Verhovna Rada of Ukraine”, — a lawyer of the “Vostok-SOS” Olga Anishkina reported to the Informator.lg.ua.

The head of Rzhishev city Court Svetlana Kozina confirmed that Roman Kerimov worked in that institution. She also said that he was in official vacation at the moment.

Location of Roman Kerimov is unknown now. Law enforcement officers can just hope that Kerimov will come back from his vacation and will be punished according to the law.
