Protest action in Kyiv: Saakashvili in tent camp and Poroshenko’s explanation

A politician Mikheil Saakashvili arrived to tent camp on Grushevskogo street in Kyiv, where the protest action takes place, in the evening of October 18. ‘Interfax-Ukraine’ reported about it.

It’s noted that a few dozen of supporters were accompanying Saakashvili. The situation left calm, politician communicated with protesters, moving from tent to tent.

Otherwise, the head of ‘BPP’ faction Artur Gerasimov has reported, why The President of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko didn’t meet with MPs – participants the protest action.

According to his words the leader of Ukraine is ready to meet with three MPs – Mustafa Nayyem, Svetlana Zalishchuk, Sergei Leshchenko, but the meeting with Jury Levchenko and Jury Derevyanko is unacceptable for the President.

‘My humble opinion, when people, who ilдegally made a border breakthrough, burned smoke bombs in the Verkhovna Rada, when there were children, enter the state institutions, it’s unacceptable’, Gerasimov reported.

We would remind that as a result of clashes under the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on October 17 three civils and one law enforcement got injured. The last one become an ATO participant.
