Today on September 29 at about 14:00 unknown men poured diesel fuel on a car and set it on fire, the car belongs to Andrey Belozerov who is Deputy Mayor of Slavyansk on municipal services.

The Mayor Oleg Zontov thinks this incident is related to future elections that are going to take place on October 25. He thinks that somebody was trying to scare city authorities and to destabilize the situation. The fire was stopped fast and nobody was wounded.

One of the candidates who wants to get elected for the city mayor is a member of “Party of Regions”
