So called “head of the Administration” self-proclaimed “DPR” Maxim Leschenko refuted messages about taking off flags of “DPR” in the center of Donetsk. “The message about mass taking off state flags of Donetsk People’s Republic from all administrative buildings, spreading in all social media, is not true. No orders weren’t published about it”, he claimed on pages of official site of “DPR”.

According to his words, the “state” symbolism of DPR is staying on its places and exchanging in working order only if it dilapidated.

Public TV Donbas reports that flags of insurgents are continuing to hang above the buildings of Donetsk. Symbolism of “DPR” is also present near the administrative buildings and on Lenin’s square. Bill-boards with “referendum” and campaign tents of candidates on elections are continuing to locate on the streets of the city.

However, it must be noticed that there is really no the symbolism of “DPR” on the roof of the building of Regional State Administration and on stele on Lenin’s square, previously reported.
