The Central bank of Russia has issued the banknote of the par value 100 roubles, dedicated to two occupied “new subjects of Federation” – Sevastopol and Crimea republic. The website of Bank of Russia reports that banknote, which circulation is 20 millions, issued on December 23, 2015.
The castle “Lastochkino gnezdo” (Swallow’s Nest) is shown on one side of the banknote. One the other side is the monument to Sunken Ships in Sevastopol Bay, the fragment of the picture of I.K. Aivazovsky “Russian squadron on Sevastopol raid”. Both of the images are oriented vertically.
Also, The Bank of Russia puts into circulation the silver coin on December 18, 2015, par value 3 roubles, which is dedicated to the International Children’s Center “Artek”. The mountain Ayu-Dag is shown on the opposite side of the coin and the panorama of “Artek” on its background and also colourful of International Children’s Center. Circulation of the coin is 1 thousand.
We would remind that roubles were begun to mark with the stamp “Slava Ukraine!” (Glory to Ukraine) in occupied by Russia Sevastopol.
