The representative of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchy in the chapel of St. Agaphy in Sverdlovsk refused in a prayer service for the health of a newborn child, referring to his Ukrainian birth certificate. Mother of a newborn child told to the correspondent of informator.lg.ua that her son was infected with staphylococcus in maternity hospital. Baby was registered on the territory, controlled by Kyiv government.

“We were at my parents in Sverdlovsk. We came into chapel to book a prayer service for the health”, remembers mother. According to her words, the priest threw the birth certificate on the floor and claimed that her son will die “unclean”, because of the place of registration. “He cried that we all will burn in hell”, told the woman.
