“LPR” and “DPR” chieftains are waging war for the the scopes of the financial impact, considers public activist and blogger Karl Volokha.

Leaders of self-proclaimed “republics” got the main income from the sale of alcohol, tobacco and coal.

“First Igor Plotnitsky began the conflict. He prohibited the spreading of production of  alcohol plant “Olimp”. Zakharchenko reacted on this with a few blockings of transportation of coal by the railway road in Ukraine. There is episodes, when both conflicting sides forbid import or transit of different production of the competitor”, writes Volokh.

According to his opinion, “trade and business war is brewing between “republics” and it’s the one of factors, which will make their union impossible”.

We would remind that numerous promises to take away customs from the border of “LPR” and “DPR”, divided Debaltsevo in two parts,  turned out to be empty words.
