The production of shock drones is starting in Ukraine. The secretary of NSDC Alexander Turchinov has claimed about it, reports “Ukrinform”.

“We have very serious inquiry exactly on combat drones and I won’t reveal secrets: we made a conference with Ukrainian Defense Industry and we begin the production in “CB of Antonov”, said Turchinov. Also, he noticed that Ukraine still has problems with drone sample supply from abroad.

“I consider, that unreasonable restraint in military-technical cooperation of our country is continuing. Especially when it’s about lethal weapons. But we will crush this barrier and our way is to rely on our own production and own potential. And we can produce weapon better than analogues, made in the world”, stressed Turchinov.

NSDC Secretary also handed to AFU the party of modern unmanned aircraft systems by Ukrainian production.

According to his words, the price of drone is the third of foreign analogue and allows to compete effectively in foreign markets. Also, Turchinov noticed that it’s the mass production, from design and creation to the finished complex. The Ministry of Defense accepts drone and will test it in the conditions of warfare in ATO.

As it was reported earlier, AFU will get modern unmanned aircraft systems “Spectator”, developed by the students of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and produced by JSC “Meridian” named by S. Korolev.
