Insurgents opened fire on the pedestrian crossing in Stanitsa Luhanska on February 3, at 9 pm.
“Nearly 9 pm the terrorists fired on crosswalk in Stanitsa Luhanska from 82-mm mortars. A big number of mines has fell down near the bridge in the “grey zone”, some near the crosspoint of Ukrainian side”, reports the press-service of Luhansk Regional Military-Civilian Administration.
Locals told that sounds of explosions were clearly heard near the railway bridge. Fortunately, there were no victims.
But, if shelling repeat, the pedestrian crossing will be closed, claimed the head of Luhansk Regional Military-Civilian Administration George Tuka.
We would remind that Trekhizbenka and Stanitsa Luhanska were under the mortar’s fire on February 3.
