Priests of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchy (UOC KP) are continuing to be oppressed in Crimea. According to the report of the press-center of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine (GPU), the last accident has happened not so long ago in one of the settlements near Simferopol.
Unknown people in masks and so-called ‘cossacks’ have kicked out of the temple of UOC KP parishioners and rector in Simferopol, reports the press-service of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine.
“It was detected, that in time of religious ritual in the Holy Protection temple of Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchy, located in village Perevalnoe of Simferopol district, armed people in masks and cossacks arrived and using the force, kicked out from the accommodation rector and parishioners”, reported GPU.
Also, prosecutor noticed that this priest was the adversary of the armed aggression against Russian Federation and illegally wanted on charges of extremism. Not so long ago law enforcements detained the mother of this priest and demanded from her personal data of her son.
