Nearly 3 000 of citizens of Ukraine in Luhansk Region during 2015 were deprived Internally Displaced Person status. The head of Department of Social Protection of Population Eleonora Polischuk has reported about it.

“According to the last data, somewhere within 3000 were deprived status of IDP in connection with they were fixed as people, who don’t live on Ukrainian territory. It’s a data of the Migration Service in the Region”, noticed Polischuk.

She also confirms that legislation now doesn’t allow to check places of living of migrants by the address specified in the certificate.  

“This norm was cancelled in the bill and now we can’t understand how to realize such a control”, added Polischuk.

As it was reported earlier, the deputy of the Minister of Social Policy has spreaded a letter, where was ordered “not to fulfill the law, while Cabinet of Ministers won’t change the texts of the relevant Resolutions – #505 and #509”.
