Vladimir Zhivaga, the head of Starobelsk, died in the ambulance from the received head injuries. The Communication Division Chief of the National Police Department in Luhansk region reports, that according to the preliminary information, the watchman, while bypassing the territory, found out mayor, laying on the ground in the inside yard of Starobelsk Executive Committee, on February 22 at 10 pm.

“The information has already come that mayor of Starobelsk Vladimir Zhivaga died from injuries in the head”, tells the message, released by The Communication Division Chief of the National Police Department in Luhansk region.

The staff of investigation group is working at the scene.

We would remind that Vladimir Zhivaga, the candidate on the post of Starobelsk head at the same time ran from his party under #1 and in City and District Councils on the elections in the city on October 28.
