The chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights Grigoriy Nemyria urged the Government of Ukraine to stop immediately illegal discrimination of the internally displaced persons.  The press service of the Committee on Human Rights reports about it.

“Beginning from February 19, 2016, the messages from public organizations and initiatives, which help to IDPs, about mass cancellation of the certificates about the registration of IDPs in the automatic regime began to come to me”, reported Grigoriy Nemyria.

Lists, provided by SSU and State Border Service of Ukraine arrived into Department of Labor and Social Protection. The Minister of Social policy Pavel Rozenko has confirmed having of such lists on February 19. he claimed also that together with SSU during last three months the Ministry actively works under the “liquidation of fraudulent schemes built around payments to IDPs”.

“I’m asking the Government of Ukraine to stop immediately the practice of stopping of acting of the certificates of IDPs according to data, provided by Security Service of Ukraine and other the subjects of powers, don’t contemplate in Law of Ukraine “About ensuring the rights and freedoms of IDPs”, summed up Nemyria.

We would remind that public organizations, dealing with the rights of IDPs, released the information that regional Departments of Social Protection Ministry of Social Policy of the population had spreaded on February 19 the letter without sign #672/0/10-16/081 from 02.16.2016 “”About strengthening the control under the payments”.
