The police of Donetsk region resumed the practice of service by consolidated units. The Communications Department General Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk region reports that such measures were taken to strengthen inside safety of the town, located on the demarcation line.

The first special group of the police was sent in Avdeevka by an order of the head of the Police Dept in Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin. It consists from skilled staff of criminal police, preventive service and other structural and territorial police units.

“The manpower shortage is sharply felt in the front line town. It’s not enough nearly 70% of staff in Avdeevka Police Department. Only 37 employees serve here. The half of them are women”, reports the message.

As it was reported earlier, Investigation Department of the State of the National Police in the Donetsk region summoned for questioning ‘cossack chieftain’ Jury Safonenko and the head of ‘criminal investigation dept of DPR’ Sergei Timoshenko.
