Russia proposes to Poland to sing together about Volyn massacre on “Eurovision”

A deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Petersburg Vitaliy Milonov offered to Poland organization committee of contest “Eurovision-2016” to present from Russian and Poland one artist with the song about Volyn massacre of Poles in 1943. According to the report of “TASS, this way is the reaction of Milonov on the choice of Jamala as the Ukrainian representative with a song about deportation of Crimean Tatars “1944”, which he called “anti-Russian”.

“Music, cinema and theater, art-performance ceased to be the language of creativity, and “Eurovision” contest also turned into the stage for political battles. We’re preparing for the regular provocation on this contest. Ukraine is going to be an instigator. Press reports that their competitor is going to perform a song with clear anti-Russian and political context”, claimed the deputy.

Milonov proposed to Russia and Poland as the ‘people’s diplomat’ to unite creative forces and present on this contest the one performer, who would sing about ‘exploits of Ukrainian patriots’ in Volyn and in the other places in time of WWII.

“Maybe, such our unite action could reason a little bit our small relative”, writes Milonov.

We would remind that Russian politicians called “politicized step” the choice of Jamala’s song “1944” on “Eurovision”.

As it was reported earlier, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Petersburg Vitaliy Milonov with the “humanitarian mission” became the figurant of the regular scandal. Russian internet-edition “Fontanka” has published the photos of a man, alike deputy, holding the machine gun and shooting from it.
