Fighters don’t allow to representatives of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) to pass warm clothes to Ukrainians, holding as hostages on the occupied area. The representative of Kyiv in the humanitarian subgroup from Ukraine side Iryna Gerashchenko has reported about it on her Facebook page.
According to her words, last time ICRC representatives receive letters from the relatives of hostages, in which they ask to pass warm clothes to their loved ones.
‘ICRC representatives have received 31 letter from relatives of the hostages, who are held on the occupied territories. Relatives directed packages to Ukrainians. Today we got the information from the representatives of separate districts of Donetsk region that ICRC haven’t got the permission yet to give packages with warm clothes and food’, – Gerashchenko stressed and added that this issue was raised during Misk negotiations.
‘We hope that some results will appear soon and ICRC could pass the parcels to Ukrainians in a closer time’, she wrote.
Iryna Gerashchenko also clarified that places, where fighters are held in Ukraine, are opened for visits to international missions.
‘ICRC representatives have visited more than 70 times the places of detention in Ukraine and mission can continue further to carry out its work’, Iryna Gerashchenko explained.
Tries to blame Armed Forces of Ukraine in using the weaponry, banned by Minsk agreements, are unfounded. HQ of ATO has reported about it on its Facebook page.

‘During last day 61 shell of 152 mm calibre and 64 shells of 122 mm calibre were fired on AFU positions. In general 9 cases (230 shots) from the side of weaponry of illegal armed groups’ (IAG) were fixed. It might be withdrawn according to Minsk agreements. AFU haven’t used any of armory’, text tells.
Also it was noted that all ‘all charges into address of Ukrainian militaries about their using of high-calibre artillery are dirty insinuations’ which goal is to ‘hide real situation on the using on 07.12.2016 the artillery of 152 and 122 mmm calibres by IAG of the Special Districts of Donetsk Region’.
‘SMM OSCE was operatively informed about aforecited violations of ceasefire. All objective data of the photofixation of using heavy artillery from the side of IAG will be transferred in accordance with established procedure’, Petrenko resumed.
Yesterday, on December 8, MPs of Ukraine have voted for the law #5114, which limits the access of print production of anti-Ukrainian content from Aggressor country RF on Ukrainian market. 237 deputy have voted for this law.
According to the words of Deputy Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kirilenko, publications less 10 copies won’t need the resolution.
As the result of the acceptance of law Public Expert Council under the State Committee of TV and Radio, which will provide the appropriate approval for the importation of literature from Russia, will be created.
UN has fixed the death of Crimean citizen in Russian prison. Except this the report of the organization informs about death of two more citizens of Ukraine, removed from Crimean correctional institutions, who had needed emergency medical care. Crimean human rights group has informed about it, linking on the report about the situation with human rights in Ukraine of UN monitoring mission of human rights in Ukraine of Fiona Frejjzer.
‘The protracted transfer of detainees from the Crimea in prisons on the territory of Russia raises serious concerns. Detained in Sevastopol on September 8 died in the jail institution on RF territory, where he was removed from Crimea at the beginning of 2015’, UN told.
In particular, Ukrainian Valery Kerimov (native of Henichesk) died on September 8, 2016 in the penal colony #1 of Adygeya Republic (Russia). He was removed from penal institution of Crimea to colony of Russia. He was sick with hepatitis and tuberculosis, he didn’t get medical care in time, as a result he deceased.
Other citizen of Ukraine Sergei Glinyanik from Sevastopol died on August 30, 2016 in the isolation ward of Simferopol also because of lack of medical care.
There is the serious concerns in regard to other two citizens of Ukraine for their lives. Jury Saenko isin penal colony #2 in Rostov-on-Don and Leila Guseinova is in isolation ward of Simferopol. HIV and hepatitis were detected in both prisoners and they need immediately medical support.
According to the information of the expert of Regional human rights center, the attorney Roman Martynovsky, nearly 2 200 imprisoned citizens of Ukraine were removed in Russian penal colonies during the period of occupation of Crimea, 240 from them are women.
