On the eve of the action ‘Heirs of the Victory’, which was held on the occupied by insurgents part of Donetsk region in December 9, the brochure was issued. It’s dedicated to the feats of commanders Mikhail Kutuzov and Georgy Zhukov and near with them fighters decided to carol ‘deeds’ of ‘DPR’ chieftain Aleksander Zakharchenko.

Users of social media cruelly ridiculed ‘deeds’ of Zakharchenko and fact how ‘soldierly’ fighters’ ringleader put himself in one rank with the Great leaders. People offer to find three’s a crowd, wondering, how insurgent could get into such a company.  

We notice, that nobody hasn’t understood such a PR-step of Aleksander Zakharchenko, neither patriots of Ukraine, nor supporters of spreading of so-called ‘Russian World’ (abstract spiritual “philosophy” term, which describes destructive Russian mode of life. synonyms: Russian delirium, Fourth Reich, Russkiy mir, Russian fake – all of them depends on context). Appropriate comments users left in the threads of social media.  

At the same time project of Russian search-system ‘Yandex’ ‘Yandex Taxi’ is winding down its operations in annexed Crimea and Sevastopol. Crimean edition ‘Primechaniya’ (Notes) reported taxi service didn’t work at peninsula half a year.

It’s become known on Wednesday, December 14. In particular, the representative of ‘Yandex Taxi’ Elina Staviskaya said, that service permanently wides its geography and in connection with this it tests its suggestions in a big number of cities and regions. ‘Also testing was held in Crimea. At this moment it’s over’, she clarified and added, that company is not going to renew its work on the peninsula while.

Senior Support Specialist Dmitry Volkov confirmed this version. He said, that the main reason of leaving Crimea is the finish of testing regime.

Together with this, there are active discussions in social media about this situation and people connect such outgo with sanctions against RF. ‘It was a surprise to know that Yandex Taxi stopped its work in Crimea, which positioned itself as Russian’, Andrei Degtyarev, Crimean journalist wrote about it.

One more version of disappearing of ‘Yandex Taxi’ from peninsula is the monopoly of local banks and their tariff policy. According to opinion of political scientist Vladimir Jarall, ‘Yandex’ works by franchise scheme and banks are weak spot for local partners.

‘It’s known fact that there are two main banks in Crimea and their tariff policy is not profitable for their clients. Work of Yandex needs a lot of calculations, money are moving actively, but tariffs for operations are bringing to big costs. That’s why it turned that old scheme of work is more simple for them’, the expert explained and add, that conflict with local carriers, who aren’t accustomed to such a low cost, could play its role too.

‘They are not satisfied with the terms of ‘Yandex’, but actual boycott was palpable. In the end it turned out. Let it be for now. And now here is the question – will tariffs grow? Oversupply, the actual paralysis of movement during peak hours makes its own adjustments. It’s a pity, a lot of people have already appreciated the comfort of Yandex’.  

We add that ‘Yandex Taxi’ has been working more than 5 months in big cities of Crimea: Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yevpatoriya, Alushta, Yalta, Feodosiya, Sudak and Primorskoe.

The chairman of Russian volunteer public organization ‘Fraternal aid’ Anatoly Kotlyarov has made the statement that number of orphanages is growing on the occupied by ‘DPR’ territory of Donetsk region.

Russian claims that number of orphans doubled.

‘It’s a pity, but number of children in orphanages of ‘Novorossiya’ increased twice. It connected with a fact, that parents bring their children into orphanage for they elementary can survive there’, Kotlyarov claimed.

Well-known Russian oppositionist Aleksei Navalny, who pretends on the post of RF head and will take part in race on elections’, claimed that he found the decision with the definition of toiletries of annexed by Russia Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea.

Navalny supposes, that it’s impossible to solve in a simple way the question of occupation of Crimea by Russia. Russian politician considers that ‘normal referendum’ must be held on the territory of Ukrainian peninsula. Oppositionist consider that the world community will accept such results.

Except this, Navalny consider that such referendum, where peninsula residents will say their true opinion about Crimea allegiance, will start to solve the problem with annexion.

The Supreme Court of RF recognized legal 5 year ban to enter Russia to Ukrainian MP Mustafa Jemilev and this step dismissed the appeal of the protection of Jemilev on the FSB ban to enter RF.

‘The decision of Moscow city Court from May 20, 2016 to leave without change the appeal complaint of attorney Feigin without satisfaction’, tells the operative part of the definition read on Wednesday. Thus, the decision about ban to enter RF for Jemilev has come into force. It’s known that session was in the closed mode, because the materials of a case classified as ‘secret’.

Teacher from Luhansk National University Janna Marphina claimed that ‘It is no accident that this book appeared; when active warfare finished in autumn 2014 and the people could communicate with friends and colleagues, it revealed that a lot of them were keeping a diaries about experienced events’. She added, that ‘authors of the project began to collect stories from their friends, students, acquaintances, later they made the contest and collect bets of them’.

Except this it was noted that ‘documentary book’ named ‘Diaries of separatists’ is the ‘common view on terrible events of this war of different generations’.

In time of presentation copies were given to invited, among them: “Head of the ICRC office in Lugansk Michel Saad; Head Save Donbass People in Italy, coordinator of the “Italian Center” in Lugansk Andrea Palmeri; “Journalist” Graham Phillips. The book will be distributed to libraries of ‘LPR’ and ‘DPR’, RF and far ‘Abroad, including Canada, Sweden, the Netherlands, China and Germany’.

Compilers also claimed about starting of a new ‘project’, which will be called ‘Luhantsy: who we are?’. Janna Marphina considers that it will be ‘very serious work’. The goal of a project is to ‘put on the pages of the compilation stories of a simple ‘protectors of Donbass’, about their ‘feats’ on the front and in the period of active warfare.
