Pope Francis in time of traditional Urbi et Orbi on Christmas wished peace to inhabitants of Eastern Ukraine, suffering from the consequences of a conflict.
According to report of ‘Radio Freedom’ the Pope, in particular, said, ‘Peace to men and women, who still suffer from the consequences of a conflict in Eastern Ukraine, where common wish to bring relief to the population and to fulfill its obligations is urgent’.
He also called to fulfill the obligations to establish peace on the East of Ukraine.
Pope remembered about countries and territories in his message, which residents more suffer from inside armed conflicts, wars, humanitarian crisis – about Syria and separately city of Aleppo, of the Holy Land (Israel), Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Nigeria, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Colombia, Venezuela, Myanmar, the Korean Peninsula.
‘Today news diverges in all the earth, wishing to reach all people, especially those, who are wounded by wars and sharp armed conflicts and those who strongly feel the pursuit of peace… Peace to those, who got injured or lost near relations in cruel terrorist acts, which spread fear and death in the hearts of many countries and cities’, he applied to believers.
