The Prosecutor of Autonomous Republic of Crimea directed to court indictments against 11 former deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
According to the report of the website of Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office, this is about next betrayers: Tsekov S.P., Savchenko S.B., Bakharev K.M., Gafarov E.S., Zaichenko A.A., Ilyasova R.I., Ioffe A., Klytchnikova V.M., Nahlupina V.G., Fix E.Z., Shuvaynikova S.I.
They are accused in the commission of a criminal offense under Part. 1, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (high treason). During the investigation of criminal proceedings the irrefutable evidence that in March 2014 the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea helped and contributed to the occupation of the peninsula were detected. In particular, they unlawfully accepted a number of resolutions, as the result illegitimate state entity ‘Republic of Crimea’ was created.
Traitors can be punished by imprisonment for the term from 12 to 15 years.
