The candidate on the post of the president of France Marine Le Pen doesn’t consider Crimea Ukrainian and also supposes that sanctions against country-aggressor Russia must be cancelled. Such statement the politician has made in the interview to ‘Izvestiya’ (Tidings) Russian edition.

Le Pen has claimed that she wants to ‘provide to France the independence from USA and NATO and to recover the normal relationships between France and Russia. In particular, by the way of cancelling of unfair and ineffective sanctions’.

Moreover, according to politician’s opinion, annexed Crimea, ostensibly has ‘never been Ukrainian’. Also, Le Pen supposes that accessory of the peninsula to Ukraine is the ‘administrative question of the Soviet times’.

‘Yes, I also recognize Crimea as a part of RF after the referendum, which showed the agreement of people to join Russia. I regret that referendum, organized to demonstrate the will of peninsula’s people, wasn’t accepted by the global community and in UN’, the edition has quoted Le Pen’s words.
