The large-scale exhibition covers almost 600 square meters. The press-service of Dnipro Regional State Administration has reported about it.
The inside exposition name is ‘Civil feat of Dnipro region inhabitants’. It has almost 2000 exhibits and places in three halls. First is the things of people of region, which contributed in the defense of Ukraine. There are the instruments of medics, chaplain clothes, volunteer chevrons, activist action posters, war correspondents pictures, kid’s drawings.
‘Dnipro region residents were one of the first who united and began to stand up for the independence of Motherland. Somebody went to the front as a volunteer, somebody become military, somebody left home hospital and went to cure soldiers on the front. Inside exhibit of ATO Museum is dedicated to the feat of every region resident. The exhibition keeps a history of victory and the pain of loss. It’s about all of us’, the chairman of Dnipro Regional State Administration Valentin Reznichenko noted.
The second hall has the pictures of a half of thousand of dead heroes and also dear to their hearts things: favorite chess, a book, an icon, a letter from mother, cell telephone with explosive trails. This ‘Memory hall’ is dedicated to those, who gave their lives for Ukraine.
‘I transferred bulletproof vest and namely, punched by enemy bullet helmet of my husband to the museum. This things are very close to me, but I gave them without any regrets. People must see how much peace costs in our house. I will come to museum with son. He knows that his father is a hero’, shared her opinion the wife of dead ATO soldier Svetlana Guba.
Multimedia hall, created like in the modern European museums, shows panoramic documentary about war on the East of Ukraine. The image is broadcasted on four walls at the same time, shifting in the epicenter of events.
‘Nobody was forgotten at this exposition – soldiers, volunteers, doctors. There must be so. Ukrainians must see, that the same ordinary people as them with open heart and kind eyes wared. They carried out the tasks not because they love war. They did it because it’s their duty to defend Motherland’, the commander of tank battalion, the Hero of Ukraine Eugen Mezhevikin considers so.

We would remind that street exposition of the First ATO Museum was opened in spring 2016. It called ‘By the roads of Donbass’. There are heavy machinery in the center of the exhibition: armoured personnel carrier, emergency, mortar, antiaircraft system, military jeep, the tower of a tank, burnt car. Total number is 400 showpieces.
