State Emergency Service of Ukraine has claimed that 80 buses, which can remove from the city almost 3000 of people at the same time, were prepared. The chairman of the Department Nickolay Chechetkin has reported about it.
According to his words, 10 close settlements are ready to accept Avdeevka dwellers: Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Druzhkivka, Pokrovsk, Selidovo, Gornyak, Novgorodske, Ukrainske, Bakhmut and Slavyansk.
‘80 buses, which can remove from the city almost 3000 of people at the same time, were prepared. Moreover, to evacuate people the work of two commuter trains, which can evacuate more than 1 500 people per 1 race, was planned. The control for fire protection of Coke ovens’, Chechetkin stressed.
He also added that local authorities in the collaboration with rescue rangers have organized 11 points of heating on Avdeevka territory.
‘Minimal pressure and the temperature of coolant (up to 40 degrees by Celsius) in the city heating system are provided. The air temperature 15-16 degrees by Celsius is supported in flats. The work of 14 kindergartens and educational institutions was temporarily suspended’, the chairman of the service clarified.
He also reported that the regional commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergencies is holding the overall coordination of measures to protect the population, the rescue and recovery work. 230 people and 55 units of equipment are acted in the rescue and other emergency operations.
‘If situation complicates consolidated emergency rescue team total of about 150 people and 14 units of different power plants, 22 points and 4 heating unified motor heater are formed and kept in total readiness in Avdiivka MES. Ukrainian Hydro Meteorological Center reported that low temperature (February 1 to -18C, February 2 to -10C) will be during closer two days in Avdiivka.
