Krasnohorivka settlement (Donetsk region) suffers as a result of militants’ attacks. City has problems with heat supply and locals are forced to cut trees for kindling to warm their housings. The correspondent of Informator.media reports about it from the scene.
The deputy head of Military-Civilian Administration of Krasnohorivka on security and public order Roman Korjov reported in the conversation with the correspondent that settlement had been getting under the fire during last few days, also yesterday. Krasnohorivka hadn’t heard rumble of explosions during of three-four days.
The city feels threatened permanently. For example, six unexploded shells were found in Krasnohorivka on February 1. Howitzers fired on the city nearly three days ago, week ago there was MRLS ‘Grad’ shelling.
Krasnohorivka has currently problems with the communications. So, settlement has no heat supply. Locals are forced to cut trees for kindling to warm their housings, because the most part of houses has gas boilers, which don’t bring any profit now. The gas supply is absent in Krasnohorivka three years.
‘We have water and light and that’s all that we have at the moment’, Roman Korjov commented the situation in the frontline settlement. Children, who collected tree branches for kindling, got in a lens of the correspondent.
The deputy head of Military-Civilian Administration of Krasnohorivka emphasized that there are dead or wounded as a result of shellings. Meanwhile, residential sector and infrastructure are seriously injured: houses – floors, windows, roofs were damaged.
Although the situation is tense in Krasnohorivka, the cannonade is heard, the settlement is under the permanent shelling threaten, locals are not panic. The mechanism of actions in the dangerous situation has already become a familiar and perfected. Krasnohorivka is surviving as a dozen of Donbass cities injured from Russian armed aggression.
