On February 19 acts dedicated to the anniversary of tragic Euromaidan events, in which more than 100 people died on February 2014, were held.

The correspondent of ‘112 Ukraine’ reported from the scene that few hundreds of people were taking part in the activities.

‘Main acts are happening now on Maidan under the stele. There are few hundreds of people on the action ‘Open microphone’. Participants of Euromaidan action, public activists, indifferent Ukrainians and volunteer battalion representatives are among them. They act at a time, tell about three year ago evets and also about what they could and couldn’t reach during all this time’, the correspondent reported. Security measures in the capital are intensified: metal detector were mounted on Khreschatyk and European square, 6.5 of law enforcements protect the rule of law’.
