Under the auspices of NATO: Training center for paramedics will be opened in Ukraine soon

Under the auspices of NATO the training center for paramedics, using telemedicine possibilities, is going to be opened. The Chairman of the Health Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Olga Bogomolets has claimed about it at a conference on the development of multi-national telemedicine system for emergencies, Ukrinform reports.

‘I hope that Ukraine will have an opportunity to create the center of preparing the instructors for paramedics using the telemedicine by NATO standards’, Bogomolets claimed and said that Romania will be a partner of Ukraine from NATO in this program.

She also emphasized that Ukrainian medics have got a lot of practical experience in the conditions of resistance to Russian aggressor and they’re ready to share it with Alliance partners.

‘Ukraine participation in NATO program to create multinational telemedicine system are extremely important to get an experience and knowledges by new standards. It means for me that we get an opportunities to save more lives’, Bogomolets emphasized.

It’s known that center will begin its work in 2017. Firefighters, rescue workers, police officers, drivers and employees of high-risk companies will be educated there. It’s possible that the opportunities of center will wide and it will educate flight attendants, conductors and people of other professions who are responsible for the lives and safety of others.
