The railway toad connection blockade in ATO zone is profitable to Russian Federation. The representative of Ukraine in the Tripartite Contact Group (TCG) to regulate situation in Donbass, the second president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma expressed such an opinion.  

‘Such methods don’t help (Ukraine – ed.) but on the contrary. Even the decision about passports (temporary legalization by Russia of ‘documents’ of self-proclaimed ‘LPR’ and ‘DPR’ – ed._ also connects with blockade. So, if Ukraine doesn’t want, so we’ll meet them halfway’, Kuchma claimed.

According to his words RF uses the situation to convince people, living in Donbass, to go on its side.

Kuchma considers that Ukraine must solve the problems (including trade with temporary occupied territories) on the parliament level, government and president.  

‘Yes, we have problems and nobody throws them out. The same parliament, government and president: make the commission from customers service officers, SBU representatives… And look, what they really have’, he said.

We would remind that the only working boiler in Mironovskaya thermal power station was stopped, the heat supply in the heating system of Mironovsky village was interrupted, because of the blockade.
