Centralized power supply is still absent in Avdiivka. The press-service of the State Emergency Service reports about it.

‘Centralized power supply is absent as of 7am on March 7. The heating in the city, in which 22 thousand of people live, is made centrally at the expense of the heat and power center of the Avdiivka Coke Plant. Water store in city’s reservoir of 4 thousand cubic meters volume was created.  Social sphere objects without own backup power systems are provided with power from 7 SES-generators’, tells the message.

24 persons and 8 units of equipment are involved from SES to emergency recovery works. The situation is under State Emergency Service control.

We would remind that at the beginning of Mrch frontline Avdiivka has survived after the regular shelling yesterday’s evening. Dwellers’ houses, located in the old part of the city, got under the fire. Pokrovsk police Department of Donetsk region reports that as a result of shell’s direct hit house on Sportivnaya street, 2 was damaged and no.3 got splinters’ traces and broken out windows.
